Fashion is forever evolving and throughout history there have been some amazing trends and styles in fashion industry. Each decade of fashion over the last hundred years or so has had distinct fashion trends and styles which have become very trendy all over the world. These have had influences from the societal transformation throughout the decades and have made their impact on the fashions of the times. In the 1960s and 1970s there have been some distinct fashions that have been on the forefront and loved by all during those times. Those fashions are sometimes even reimagined in the present times to create fabulous styles in current fashions. The following are some of the styles that became very iconic during those fashionable times of the 1960s and 1970s: Fashions of the 1960s •    The shift dress became iconic in the 1060s. This short tunic style sleeveless dress in bright colors with geometric prints and designs was very much in fashion in the 1960s. Fashions of the 1970s •    The bohemian hip style look became really famous in the 1970s. Hungarian blouses, ponchos, capes, bellbottoms, maxi dresses and skirts in various different prints and styles became really popular in the 1970s. •    Colorful clothes became really trendy during this time and colors like forest green, camel, pink and red became very fashionable. •    In accessories chokers, floppy hats, headbands and scarves made of ethnic and natural materials were favored in the 1970s. •    Some people in the late 1970s really followed the disco fashion looks and punk style looks. Also in the 1970s a slight punk style look also became really famous. •    One piece swimsuits for women, tight skirts, miniskirts, go-go boots, platform shoes, tube tops, crop tops and hippie style clothing all were in vogue in the 1970s. These decades in fashion still influence today’s fashions as those iconic style mentioned above are often reimagines in different ways in today’s stylish fashions.
