The back-to-school look is tricky but when Olivia Dar showcased studded collar neck piece, it was business and awed the style lovers. The last time I saw any fashion bubble go fury on such a wide horizon was polka prints, and next is “collars”.

The collars have been seen in 2011-12 and still reigns in 2013!  The reason could be the soft yet stylish persona they give you.  Crafted in silk, lace, shiny fabrics and lot of stones, embellishments, thread work, etc makes the piece lovable. With a side mild kick to the boring white, bright colored collars are most preferred now. Celebrities have been carrying collars with dresses in the old 1920’s style or just the mid 90’s chic fashion. The curves and cuts in the feminine collars make it very easy to blend in with mini dresses and formal shirts. For the boho chic, classy cocktail LBD, buttoned up collars, drop waist dresses, summer cool shirts or dazzling lace collars, there is a lot with which these collars can be carried and looks aesthetic. A collar necklace is another much loved accessory being spotted around the fashion globe. These have replaced the long chains and the funk style neck pieces.  Showcased by Prada, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, etc. collars are a “repeat” on fashion parades and a green signal by A-list too. It is very up market and cannot be defined as formal or casual. Deck yourself with studded neck pieces, short dresses with buttoned collars or contrasting collars with chiffon shirts, it is trendy, flirty and if I am writing about it, it will last this year significantly!
